Everyone knows about the Swiss banking industry, chocolate etc but they also produce a lot of the extremely advanced robots used in large-scale car and airplane manufacture, so this is a good thing for India as we industrialise. 

Even the US buys swiss manufacturing robots and robotic production lines for building Boeing aircraft, they really have a monopoly on the market outside China.

These aren't the robots like you think walking around on two legs, but those huge arm things doing precision welds thousands of times an hour and lifting car bodies in and out of the spray shop without ruining the paint getting fingerprints on it, stuff like that.

This is great news. Swiss produce some of the very high end engineering good. They also have monopoly on some of the higher end chemicals, inks and dyes. . 

They also produce top quality medicines, textile and watches.

Hopefully some of those Swiss watches will become more affordable in India.

It‘s about free trade between EFTA and Kosovo, not Kosovo joining EFTA. Kosovo hasn‘t applied to become an EFTA member nor would it be seriously considered.

I'd rather want the Republic of Kosovo to join EFTA than EU and make a bilateral trade agreements with the EU (similar to Switzerland having bilateral agreements with the EU). Afaik, Kosovo can manage to make some trade agreements with the EU, even though some member states are still not recognizing the republic.

SS: India has signed a free-trade agreement (FTA) with a group of four European countries that are not members of the European Union.
The deal with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) will see investments in India of $100bn (£77.8bn), the country's trade minister says.
The EFTA is made up of Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
The announcement comes as the UK and India have been holding negotiations over an FTA for the last two years.
